Homecoming is Saturday September 4!
 Come join the fun this Saturday at Cedarkirk! A special homecoming celebration is planned and whether you have been to Cedarkirk one time or one-hundred (or none!) you are invited. Come at 9:00 a.m. and enjoy a day with all the fun of Cedarkirk - swimming, climbing, rocking, relaxing - pretty much whatever you wish to do! Maximo Presbyterian Church, St. Petersburg, Needs a Worship Leader: We are looking for a worship leader for our contemporary service. Basic qualifications are strong singing voice, outgoing personality, enthusisasm about his/her faith and ability to engage the congregation in singing. Pay is $150 per week for one-hour rehearsal on Saturday and one-hour service on Sunday (no expectations during week). We have a paid key board person and a paid drummer plus some volunteer singers. Ramiro Ros is Featured in the Latest Presbyterians Today!
The August 2010 edition of Presbyterians Today features an article on 10 emerging leaders around our denomination. As our country and church become more diverse, God is calling people to ministry and the results are bringing the light of God's kingdom to more people in more places. The Rev. Ramiro Ros, who shepherds the migrant farmworkers at Beth-El Mission in Wimauma, is featured in this article. Ramiro describes himself as a 'sort of religious taxi transport service,' as he helps not only spiritually, but by helping individuals with rides. He also offers help to get past life's obstacles. Swap Shop / Barter Board

Swaps and bartering are a way of life with the staff of the presbytery. We offer the following ooportunities for those choosing this method of acquisition and disposal. Please feel free to submit your needs and cast-offs into our mix.
The Westminster Church in New Port Richey has 14 pews, in good condition, each of which seats 6 persons.
They also have about 150 Presbyterian Hymnals, never been used.
There are also many tables that can seat 6-8 people.
All of these items are available - you pick up! Please contact the Rev. Paul Richards, 727-849-4905 to arrange pick up. |
