As a child of God, I am blessed to have known many times in my life where He has guided me through incredible growth experiences. As the first child of three in an Air Force family, I moved frequently as a youngster, setting the stage for necessary change and flexibility throughout life. Middletown, NY, was called “home” for many years, followed by moves to Massachusetts, Virginia and now Florida.
In 1984 I rededicated my life to Christ as a member of a PCA church, having grown up a Catholic. In 1988, I joined The United Christian Parish, a four-denomination ecumenical church in Reston, VA, where I served in many capacities. I was ordained a (PCUSA) Elder there, and served a term as moderator of the governing board. It is where my husband, Ricardo, and I were married.
I have served two Presbyterian and Methodist churches since 1999, with a focus on finance and facility management. I received my certification as a church business administrator in 2002 (NACBA & PCBAA) and 2005 (UMC). Prior to that, my career path was in medical manufacturing - procurement, inventory control and contract management. In addition, I am a certified biofeedback (stress reduction) practitioner.
Ricardo & I live in St. Pete with our loving pet companions. We have a son and two daughters and four grandchildren - who hale from New Jersey, Nashville and Orlando. We are members of Maximo Presbyterian Church, where I am currently serving as a member of the Communications Committee.
